This is our process:
I. Book the date.
Fill out the contact information and I will email you back and discuss availability, go over the appointment date and time. Next I will send you an appointment link to fill out. Here you will sign your contract with me, pay your non-refundable retainer, and answer a small questionnaire. After confirming the booking you will receive an email with appointment details.
II. Take photos.
Three days before your appointment you will get a payment reminder email and reminders about your upcoming photoshoot. Please arrive at your appointment 10 minutes before your appointment time. We will start and I will guide you the entire photoshoot. It will go by super fast but with my prompts we will get adorable photos. I always advise parents to ignore any outbursts and keep smiling and I will get a cute photo of your child when they stop crying or have a moment to collect themselves.
If you need to reschedule your retainer will be moved to the next available day. If you have to cancel the photoshoot the retainer cannot be refunded as this amount is used by the photographer to prepare for the day (SD cards, location rentals, and general maintenance of equipment) and the photographer will not be able to fill this open spot last minute. Once your appointment is canceled you will receive an email.
III. Deliver memories.
Depending on the time of year galleries can take some time to get out. I do not give set times for gallery delivery as rushing the creative process can result in galleries that do not reflect my work. I will however edit 1-3 images if you need them for prints for events. Please mention this at your booking or in the contact page.

How long does a typical photo session last?
How long does it take to receive the final edited photos?
I understand the anticipation of seeing your final photos. The editing process typically takes 2-4 weeks, depending on the volume of images and the complexity of editing required. There will be no set date of arrival of your gallery but I will update you as I am working in your gallery to keep you in the loop. I prioritize quality and attention to detail to deliver exceptional images that exceed your expectations.
What happens if the weather is unfavorable on the day of an outdoor shoot?
If the weather doesn't cooperate on the day of an outdoor shoot, I will contact you and discuss rescheduling the session to a different date. I want to ensure the best possible outcome for your photos, and am flexible in adapting to unforeseen circumstances. Lighting is everything and overcast is great but if the weather is yucky, it will be noticeable in your photos.
What do I wear?
This is an excellent question.
I highly recommend if outdoors having 2 family members wear neutrals (Cream, tans, browns, and natural patterns) and the rest of the family to wear earth toned pops of color or patterns that complement the other colors. Visual examples can be found below.
I want to order prints but do not require your services.
It is just an honor that you are decorating your walls with your photos. It is one of the highest complements a photographer can have.

Wearing colors that elevate your photograph
Neutrals with earth-toned pops of color, layering, and textures create the best images and a visual reaction to the photos. I love when the photos look balanced and bring the eyes right to the subjects. Pops of color allow the subjects to not blend together and create a satisfying overall composition
My belief is that every person should be framed in the moments they’ve felt the most loved and cared for.
